An occupational skin disorder is a skin condition wholly or partially caused by a person’s work activity. The skin plays a very important role as a barrier to chemicals and other contaminants entering the body. Skin disorders may disrupt this barrier function.
Hair diseases are disorders primarily associated with the follicles of the hair. A few examples – Alopecia, Bubble hair deformity, Hair casts, Hair loss, hypertrichosis, Ingrown hair, Monilethrix, Premature greying of hair, Pattern hair loss, Trichorrhexis invaginata.
