FAQs

What to expect at Shree Narayandham

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. Every plan starts with a consultation with one of our doctors, who reviews your health history and current medicines before recommending any therapy.

Should I stop my current medicines?

No. Do not stop or change any prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it. Our doctors work alongside your existing care.

Can I stay at the centre during treatment?

Yes. Most guests stay with us, so that therapies, diet, yoga and rest follow one daily routine. There are four room categories, from Family Deluxe to Diamond Suite. The daily tariff includes stay, meals, prescribed treatments and doctor consultations. The minimum stay is three days.

What is the difference between naturopathy and Ayurveda?

Naturopathy uses natural elements such as water, earth, air, sunlight and diet, together with lifestyle change. Ayurveda is a classical Indian system that uses herbal medicines, diet, daily and seasonal routines and procedures such as Panchakarma. Many guests receive a combination, planned by our doctors.

Is Panchakarma suitable for everyone?

No. The Ayurvedic doctor decides whether Panchakarma, or which of its procedures, is suitable for you after a consultation.

How do I reach the centre?

The centre is at Shree Kshetra Narayanpur in Purandar taluka, about 9 km from Saswad and 35 km from Pune city. Use the directions link on our contact page for the exact route.

What does the daily tariff include?

Stay, all meals, the treatments your doctor prescribes and doctor consultations. ECG, laboratory tests, laundry, jacuzzi, beauty treatments and pick-up and drop are charged extra. Some items, such as the admission charge and medical kit, are included only in the Family Suite and Diamond Suite. See the rooms and tariff page for details.

Can I use health insurance?

Many health policies cover Ayurveda treatment. Share your policy details with our team before admission and we will help you check your cover and prepare the claim documents.

Can a family member stay with me?

Yes. An attendee can share your room for a daily charge that covers food and stay only.

What should I bring?

Photo ID (passport and visa for foreign nationals), your medical history and reports, a list of your current medicines, loose cotton clothing, sportswear and walking shoes, and warm or rain wear for the season.
