It is one of the first questions people ask: how many days does naturopathy treatment take? The honest answer is that it depends on why you are coming, your health and how much time you can give. Here is how to think about it.
Who decides
Your doctor recommends a length after your consultation and examination, based on your concern, your age and fitness, and how your body responds in the first days. You can tell us how much time you have when you book, and we will plan around it.
What different lengths can offer
3 days
Our minimum stay. Enough to have a consultation, try the routine, rest, and start therapies and a prescribed diet. Good as a reset, or to see whether a longer stay suits you.
5 to 7 days
The first days are often spent adjusting to early mornings, a new diet and no tea or coffee. By the end of a week most guests feel settled in the routine, and the doctor has had time to review and adjust the plan.
10 to 14 days
Gives diet, therapies and yoga time to work together. Many people with a specific concern, such as weight, digestion, joint pain or blood sugar, choose this length, and it gives you time to learn habits you can keep.
21 days or more
Usually advised for longer-standing concerns or a structured weight programme. The doctor will discuss it with you.
Panchakarma is planned differently
If you are coming for Panchakarma, the length depends on the procedure and how long preparation takes. A course is usually longer than a few days, so ask the doctor before you fix your dates.
Tips for planning
- Take a little more time than you think. You cannot extend preparation or recovery by rushing.
- Allow a calm day after you go home. Return to work gently.
- Plan for the season. Monsoon and winter mornings in the hills are cool; bring warm or rain wear.
- Know the booking rules. Stays are for a minimum of three days. There is no refund for leaving early, but a credit note is issued for the balance, valid for six months, as long as at least three days remain. Read our refund and cancellation policy.
What a typical day looks like
Every day follows the same routine, from waking at 4:30 am to the doctor's round at night, with yoga, treatments, meals at set times and rest. See the daily routine.
Cost of a longer stay
The tariff is per person per day and includes your room, meals, prescribed treatments and doctor consultations. For 2026-27 it starts at Rs 4,000 per person per day on double sharing. See rooms and tariff and our guide to naturopathy treatment cost in Pune.
